In no particular order:
1. Year round tan
2. Fresh avocados daily from fruit cart guy on the corner.
3. Blow outs and cheap beauty treatments
4. The single kiss greeting always
5. Not having to follow any kind of traffic rules
6. Not needing an excuse to drink and dance merengue in the street
7. When it’s “cold”, it means you just need to bring a light sweater.
8. Being perceived as ‘exotic’ for having blue eyes and being told you are beautiful everyday.. (even if it’s just cause they probably want a visa).
9. Passionfruit (chinola) margaritas, two for one happy hour, everyday
10. White sand beaches, turquoise water, mountains and waterfalls.
It has many pitfalls but boy Canada I don’t miss you during the winter!

weekend spent entirely in the sun and either scuba diving or on a beach. a little worse for wear in the sunburn area, but as i floated out from one of the most pristine beaches i have ever seen in aqua water with a cuba libre in hand i couldnt help but think that life rules.
